Setting Up Facebook Conversions in Zapier

Connect Your Zapier Conversions API Account to Facebook

Conversions API allows you to share key web and offline events with Facebook, helping you create more relevant ads and build more meaningful connections with your customers. If you have a Zapier account, you can set up your Conversions API by following the step-by-step instructions below. You can also read more here or use the Facebook Conversions app on Zapier to build your own integration that will send data to the Conversions API.

 

Go to Events Manager

 

 

Select Zapier Account

  1. Go to the Data Sources tab within Facebook Events Manager.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Scroll down and select Choose a Partner.
  4. Select Zapier and follow the setup instructions.

Create Zap

  1. Log into your Zapier account and go to your app dashboard, then select Create Zap.

Select Data Source

  1. Select the data source you want to use.

Once you've selected your data source, configure your settings and select done editing.

Choose App and Event

  1. Select Facebook Conversions.
  2. Select the action you want to perform with the app.
  3. Select continue.

Choose Account

  1. Select your account.
  2. Select continue.

Customize Purchase Event

  1. Select where your event occurs.
  2. Select the business account that will receive the event.
  3. Select where you want to send these events.

Configure Data

  1. Fill in the data you have in the event data, user data and custom data sections. You may not have data for each section, but enter as much information as you can. At least one piece of data is required.

When you're done filling everything out, you can send a test event to verify the data.

Turn It On

  1. Toggle the switch at the bottom of the page to ON to automate the process.

If it's working properly, it will show up in your Task History.
